Kyoto - Arashiyama

Arashiyama is a local Train station which looks really unique. It even has a foot spa there.

This place looks a little like Kamakura, lots of shops and a little country side feel.
This is a very dangerous rice cracker. Almost killed me with the spiciness.

I had to buy something else to take away the spicy taste.

A typical Tatami room

Another Zen temple

A Zen monk but I think he got an anime artist to do his potrait

We came actually to see this picture, but the place was closed. ARGH!!! Lesson learnt, never travel during the New Year Holidays.

There is a road by the name of Bamboo street. The name says everything.

Free Sakae.
