Hokkaido - Drive Trip 1

We decided to do a drive from Hakodate to Sapporo because the cost is really about the same. Slightly more expensive, but we could see alot of other things along the way.


Check out the stuff that is necessary. GPS, coffee, sweets, Chips.


Funny thing is I did not see many cows. But I found one on the road....

Along the way, we stopped at Noboribetsu. Where the Onsen is really famous. I tried like 7 different onsen which rocked.





Hell Valley with smoke and sulpher shooting out.

Hiyoriyama View

This mountain was formed from lava that was pushed up from underground and hardened. Instead of being at the summit, the crater is the hot water marsh itself, as you can see from the previous picture.

Smoke from the erupting volcano could be seen from the Pacific Ocean, and was used to forecast the weather at sea.
