Tour Guide

Welcome Andy to Tokyo; land of many things. Fashion, Electronic and pure maddness.

A friend from Singapore came over for work and we met up for dinner at Shibuya where I showed him around the area. One place with shopping, gadgets, food and the clubs and pubs. Everything at one place, what more can you ask for. Plus it is a famous landmark. When you see shows about Tokyo with a huge crossroad, you think of Shibuya.

And we visited the arcade. The current hot game is this thing where you get in and pretend you are driving a Robot (mobile suit from Gundam). How cool it that. You can even communicate with your friends and have a log of your previous games.
And Please take a look at my friend's picture of Tokyo Car Show. Babes included.

A new beginning again

All the ends are finally tied and servered. I am at peace with myself. I did nothing that I regret. I tried my very best. I am true to myself. I have learned.

So many things I cannot understand, but it is fine. I did what I could. The words just did not render any the need for more. Why should I?

And now perhaps, perhaps I can truely find a new me; no more facade.

Goodbye Ansley...

And Hello Ansley....

Who?

Laughs at his naivety.
Scorns his believes.
Jokes about his silliness.

Sees his anger.
Acknowledges the bitterness.
Feels the emptiness.

Wonders what more.
Realises the difference.
Views are changed

Who...

Off I go for a retreat

Will be going to my workplace at some suburb of Tokyo till end of next week for some training. Anything please email to me. Either the MSN email or my gmail. (The latter will be better)

Mean time take care

In your hands...

I read about it before, but did not really know how much it will hit me till it happened. Even though he was just a person I played touch rugby with during my uni days for my school. The short few times of training, seems so much more important.

For someone who is so fit, who accelerates so fast, who seem to love sports and play it; it seems so unfitting for him to pass away in his sleep. And his only a few years older then me.

This really came as a huge shock upon me. I hope this feeling get embedded in me and from this a lesson to treasure what I have.

Lord, in your hands....

Best investments in Japan

Get a coin pouch where you can easily locate the correct amount. Trust me....best investment I made so far.

"Service at its best, but expensive"

That was my nick for a day, I innocently used it to describe my experience at the Hair Salon. But so many perverted minds kept asking me if I was talking about the 'service' from the Jap girls. I did not even think about that till someone mentioned it to me. Goes to show how innocent I am.

Anyway, service was the best I encountered in my life. They greet uyou, and set you up in a corner as you wait for the stylist to come. In the meantime, your back, coat etc will be taken and stored in a cupboard. I got a magazine to read while waiting. She lead me to the seat, and a assistant will take the magazine for me and pass it back to me when I got to the seat. She then asked me what I wanted and throughout the whole process we chatted. Somehow she knew how to talk to me so that I can understand.

The shampoo girl brought me to the shampoo area, and covered my legs with a blanket. The chair automatically reclined and then she placed a gauze over my eyes so I don't see the glare. Everytime she starts a process, she would inform me. After the shampoo, she used a warm towel to warm my ears and went to conditioning. When it is all over, I had a warm towel to wipe my face. All the time, we had a nice conversation and she was really cute. I meant really cute, I was so smitten. She lead me to a chair and then started to massage my head and shoulders for sometime. Oh man...she is so cute...

After it was over, the stylist followed me to the counter and assisted the process of wearing the coat and the whole lot of them who was free bidded fairwell to me at the door.

The whole thing cost a bomb though, $50. I know there is cheaper ones, but not around my area though. Next time I will probably go to someplace cheaper. I am such a broke man.
