Egypt's Sunken Treasure

Managed to catch this Exhibition which presents the latest archaeological finds from the ancient Egyptian cities of Alexandria, Heracleion and Canopus. Since the 1990s, French marine archaeologist Franck Goddio has conducted underwater excavation of lost Egyptian cities, that were situated in the Nile Delta area and partly submerged beneath the Mediterranean in the first century A.D. The exhibition showcasesstatues of Pharaohs, the Sphinx, coins and jewelry. Also on show is a 3-D virtual theater, which reproduces the ancient cities as well as the excavation scenes.

Wonderful exhibition, great company, crappy weather
