Man, I wish I was there...NOW! By the time I'm there in Nov I'll be flying off to some far away land for mission...

Btw, I'll be in Tokyo in late Nov with another family & the 2 of us will be pre-loaded with 2 Nikon D300, D700, 14-24 F2.8 etc..we'll be shooting all the way!

I do not think you can rent just a simcard. I think you have to rent their phone. Jap cellular system is very different.
