The Global people decided to have a reunion dinner over at my friend's new place. A typical Japanese single living apartment usually looks like this. From the outside it seems like they just seperate the containers for you to stay.
See the square on the door? It is to allow the postman to place parcels from online purchases. You have to let them know the lock combination of course.
The kitchen is located after the main door, nothing much except a sink and stove along a really narrow walkway. The toilet is about the same as my hostel, a little bigger and they have a heater attached to it. The washing machine, fridge and microwave is provided.
The bed is on the 2nd level, almost like a capsule hotel.
Which allows a bigger area for the living room. The size is about 6 tatami mats. We had nabe (Steamboat) for dinner with tons of beer, ice cream. And had a round of ps3 gaming and jenga.
Look carefully, I am wearing a specs to see how I look! haha!
