Summer Sonic

J complained about missing out on Singfest in Spore, so I managed to get my hands on tickets even though it is sold out. Had to pull some strings though.

J became a ferocious eater in Japan, not like the pecker I thought she was. Check out the mega breakfast burger, does not help she is a fastfood junkie. I stepped into Macs more time then I even did alone in Japan.

J was too tired, too hot, too spaced out in the heat. And the mosh pit did not help. I had to self entertain while catching The Kooks.

We left so J could get some oxygen.

We moved on to the seats to catch Alicia Keys and Cold Play

I tripped and caught her slippers...SORRY!

FujiQ

J is a big fan of rollarcoaster, so we went to FujiQ for a day of mad rides. Check out the Free pass, you can put your face in it. I did not know how it worked, thus I look so blur.

It swings 360deg even on the ride. Now that is insane.

Not feeling good...hahaha!

We took a break with Panic Clock
But the weather turned really bad after that. It was storming so heavily with lightning every few minutes. The trains were stopped, the electricity was cut. We got stuck there for some time and had to resort to taking a cab (damn expensive) to the nearest JR station.

It was a cold day and as such, I decided Shabu shabu will be good. The one near my place rocks and we ate so much I had trouble walking back!

Himeji

Himeji Castle is the most well preserved castle in Japan. To me, this is the one castle to rule it all, once you have seen this, you can skip the rest unless you are interested in it.

Holes for you to throw stuff at enemy.

The architects were pretty humorous too!

It is so so so hot, so much so that they installed mist in the castle and even have warning for people to drink more water.
We did eat Mc Pork and curry rice before we rushed to catch the train back.

Erm...the best drinking friend to have when you travel back home.

Cheese Curry.....what more can I say

Miyajima

Miyajima is known to be the top few sights of Japan. A short boat ride from Hiroshima brings you to this little island.

I took a photo which looked really cool.

Lots of wild deer over here.

The low tide...

Traditional Japanese meal at the Ryokan

High Tide at night. The sight took my breadth literally.

Kickass colours.
